Hardwired radar detector and dashcam.
Has anyone used a Mirrortap to wire both of their units ?
I'm adding a Blackvue to my Passport and would like to
wire them both into a power source above the mirror mount.

I have a Blackvue DR650S-2CH and have to install it. I also have the Power Magic Pro to enable and control the parking mode function. I think I'm going to get power from the passenger side dash fuse box and maybe mount the PMP in the glove box.
I still have to bench test it before I determine where everything should go.

I've been thinking about it and since the PMP switch shuts off the parking monitor function, I might bury the control box in in fuse box.
I don't think I would want the cameras off when parking. If I need or want to kill the cameras for some reason, it's easier to pull the power wire off the main camera.
