Default High Res Photo of 2016 Tornado Gray S6

Picked her up last weekend... Attached is a high quality photo for the group. You may click on the photo for a larger version.

If anyone in interested in Tornado Gray as a color, hopefully this will help them in their research. The car is everything I imagined it would be and then some...

In the dynamic mode, the exhaust reaction is certainly addictive. Patiently waiting to get at least 1K miles in before I unleash the restrained horses.

Let me know if you have any questions. In addition to tinting the car, I also put on a decent size sun strip since the windshield did not have one as default.

Default Congratulations...

… judging by the image, you live in a temperate climate. Any decisions on a winter tire and wheel combo?

Eric, keen observation & conclusion... I am in the East Coast. No winter wheels in the plan. I am surprised how huge those front rotors & brakes are. I wouldn't dare to put non-OEM 19"s on the car. I have an FX35AWD on standby & that will do the heavy lifting under severe weather conditions.

Looks gorgeous. Can you post more pics? I'm thinking of getting tornado grey and it's impossible to figure out what it "really" looks like from the audi website. Thanks!

Hello, been lurking here for quite a while, as I have a Tornado Gray S6 on order (due in December). I too would love to see more photos of your car. It doesn't seem to be a very popular color, which to me is sort of cool.

On Order:

2016 C7 S6 Prestige in Tornado Gray Metallic, Black Sport Seats, Black Optic Package, S6 Sports Package, Cold Weather Package, Rear Side Airbags, Layered Aluminum/Black Wood inlay

Default Will take more pics this weekend...

That's the only pic I took since I picked it up. Will take more & share soon.

I love the color, it is certainly darker than silver but certainly not too dark. I have owned a lot of black cars over the last 7-8 years. Going to take a break from the darker colors. I was going to get my order in Florett Silver & when I saw an A6 in Tornado Gray parked next to a Florett Silver A4, I didn't have to think much to conclude.

Thanks. Just after it's first wash. Looks like our cars are very similar. Love the color, but originally was going to go for red, until I found out it wasn't a standard color for NZ, and would cost more and could take longer to get it. A bonus is the gray hides the dirt well.

Thanks for posting pictures. Interesting how the color looks different (to me) on a cloudy day. I still love it, just different.

It's also interesting how your car comes with a "V8T" badge on the rear of the car. They're only on the front fenders (wings?) on US cars.
