How long P-zero will last?

How long P-zero will last?
Car came with P-zero summer tires.
Probably I'll be looking to replace it with All season tires to improve wet and below 45F traction .
So, first question - how long can I expect P-zero last based on your experience?
and second - what is a good replacement AS tire? Looks like people go with Michelin AS or Conti AS.
Thanks

I have 36k on mine and I am looking to replace in July. They will have 41K on them by then which I think will be cutting it close. The key to getting 40K on these is to make sure you rotate every 4K and get the alignment checked at your 20K maintenance. My next set will be Michelin AS. I love those tires on my BMW. Ride quality is better than P-Zero's in my opinion.

I just swapped them out, only had 5,000km on them. Dealer had put new tires on my CPO. The Michelin PSS is a world of difference. I had them on my S4 as well. Quieter, smoother, and balance better than the P-Zeros (lot less weights on the wheels now).

The Michelin is rated at a 300 wear rating and the Pirelli is rated at 220. The Michelin also carries a 30,000 mile treadwear warranty and the Pirelli has none. I little simple math suggests that you may see a tread life of about 22,000 miles.
Depending on how you drive your car, road conditions and a few other factors your milage will vary.

I was able to get about 20K on the stock pirellis. Then switched to michelin PSS and its was a world of difference. After 10K miles they wore 2/32nd from original. So I was estimating about 45K from them, plus or minus. I also believe that the wear rating is not compared with other brand tires. Meaning a 300 michelin rating is only comparable to other michelin tires. A 220 Pirelli rating in not necessarily the same as a 220 michelin rating.

That is not bad for mileage with the power going to all 4 wheels. I have not even looked if I can rotate them if they are directional and if the front and rear are different sizes. I went to Michelin PSS on my Maserati and like them alot and they are very sticky. P-Zero's are diffidently a bit stickier but the super low profile is not the best for launching. They don't give or flex at all at launch and tend to have to much bite causing the car to hop. More side wall allows for a bit of spin at launch and then better hook up vs hopping and jumping off the line. Observations only from watching Audi's at the drag strip. Chick is an S-3 was kicking *** that night. She had the right formula.
My next question is regarding switching tires. Say I go to a taller profile tire in a Michelin PSS how is the Audi all-wheel drive system going to like them? I thought I saw a screen where you can enter the tire size. Is this so the computer can adjust the car to the new tire size and rotation? New to All-wheel drive preformance cars so I am asking.

I got 26,000 miles out of my P Zeros and probably had 10,000 left if I pushed them to the wear bars. At 20,000 they started to pick up some more road noise.
I replaced with Continental extreme contact DW. Super quiet and they handle better than I expected.

Conti DW are the best wet tire you can get. Good choice. They are a harder tire and will wear better. They should have a little more slip which I would be interested to hear how you like them. Do you run with the tc off much and do these allow the rear end to step out and drift a bit?
