Car and Driver claims the M5 is ~20 pounds heavier...

Not saying you're wrong, as their figures surprised me too...

Actually the M5 is 4389 lbs and the S6 is 4255 lbs. All cars are getting too big IMO

Cut and pasted from audiusa.com and BMWusa.com

S6- Curb weight (lb) - 4,398

M5- Unladen weight – 7-speed M Double Clutch Transmission 4387 lbs

I stand corrected, they are almost equal.

Ok so forgive me i am new. I have a newly purchased lease returned 2011 S4. I looked into APR and the dealer wants me to purchase stasis. I am leaning towards an APR Pulley and reflash. I don't have an AWD dyno handy so i guess the quetion is:

what does this car make stock to all 4 tires and what will it make after words? With Pulley and tune on 91?

I keep hearing and seeing the question but I don;t see a real answer so I am confused. Looking a the APR website it shows the power cureve is much broader but not really much higher. My friend has an s63 which is a tank of a car but it kills me hands down. I am hoping the pulley and tune will get me close

Sounds like you are considering an A6 (the S6 has no mechanical supercharger and therefore no pulley upgrade). This question would be better posed in the A6 forum.

I think you need to post in the B8 S4 forum, unless you are talking about a C7 S6 in which case no pulley is needed, only a tune to get in the 540+ hp range.

I agree I asked in the wrong section. But the car I am referring to is a supercharged 2011 S4 with 3.0 s/c engine

sorry I am new - but if anyone has info let'r rip. Looks like I will just find a AWD dyno shop and do a before and after
