Default Illuminated Door sill...stupid ?
I have a '16 S6 - do they all have illuminated sills? All my previous cars have (except my 2016 S5 - but I only had that 4 months).

Mine don't seem to light...lol

I can't find it as an option or accessory...or a control in MMI interface...

Interesting. My 2015 are illuminated but specifically said that on the sheet and audiusa website at the time. Now the 2016 just says aluminum door sills with S6. Need another 2016 owner to chime in.

Not sure about the S6 but the A6 lighted door sills have been part of the LED lighting package that is included in the Prestige trim.

I see the interior Led lighting package is listed as part of prestige package on S6 also.

It is the same for the S6: illuminated door sills are specifically a component of the full Ambient lighting option, and not available separately.

I was on the fence with the P+ vs Prestige for my order. Not anymore, so worth it. :-)

Well...for 83k it should have these standard...

Well, Audi could do away with the Premium Plus trim and just offer the car as a Prestige at the higher price. Then it would be standard. Some things have to be deleted to market the car at the lower price point and justify the cost of the higher one.

Exactly, and all 2013-2015 US model S6 were Prestige only.
I guess illuminated door sills is one of the options lost on the Premium Plus for 2016+
(Argggg flashbacks of folding mirror debates...LOL)
