Glacier White is a great choice...
… catches the light beautifully and the metal flake makes it a bit more forgiving as it reflects the light so softly. My 2012 S5 was Glacier Whilte…
So, being in the Empire State, what are your snow tire plans??
Also, Have you ever stayed at eh Beekman Arms Hotel or been to the historic flight museum in Rhinebeck - a great "Audi" drive! Some delightful curves and broad swaths along the river that invite some spirited acceleration. Living on Cape Cod, it was just the right length for a good back roads adventure. Made the trip a few times in an A6 2.7t, a TT 225hp, and R32 and then an A4 Cabriolet. All delightful.
Happy Motoring

My recommendation....buy Michelin Pilot Alpin PA4. They will amaze you of their winter bite without much loss in dry weather handling vs a all season tire. Plus they are quieter than the Blizzaks.
