Just want to confirm to everyone that the new updated models will have the updated MIB 2 platform instead of MMI.

- New platform has better resolution with a dynamic map display on the virtual cockpit screen behind steering wheel(instead of previous arrow nav) with Tegra 3 processing and picture navigation.
- Siri and S-voice integration for voice communication
- Internet radio from Rhapsody and Aupeo(huh?)
- New "free search" feature which takes your input and searches through POI, Google and preset destinations.
- Inrix XD Traffic replacing Sirius live traffic

Nice! Is the traffic coverage going to be independent of Sirius or having a phone plan? I remember on my A7 I lost traffic data when I stopped paying for satellite radio.

Traffic coverage is going to be built into AudiConnect with real-time updates and destination re-routing.

To be honest, I dont even use my maps, Im a diehard Waze user.

Working traffic is tied to AudiConnect, not Sirius.

EDIT: I meant for 2016 models, not historically as well. This is right from Audi's web site.

What will be? Sirius? Yes but only for music, not both music and traffic.

Does this means all 2016 models will have MIB-2 and INRIX traffic? The Audi Press release only mentioned the A6 and TT.

Also, would you have an idea when the 2016 A4 will be released to the USA? It was delayed last year and different sites have different answers. Not being showed at the Geneva Motor Show was not good.

No, as stated in my title, only the c7 platform will get the update. The tt coming out will get it obviously also. The a4 should be released this time next year.
