From what I heard, E.U. production started 2mo ago, U.S. production hasn't started yet. I was promised my car would be one of the first in for U.S. production and it hasn't gone in yet.

Thanks, they have a few months to workout any issues before the cars come to the US. Delivery in EU must be soon then?

I heard they are getting engines re-certified (or re-classified for MPG) in the U.S., but I'm not sure if that's true or if it would be the cause of the delay.

I know someone in EU that was promised delivery before the end of the year. The refreshed models there are considered 2015's though - they will only be considered 2016's in the U.S.

Probably won't make it to the A6/A7/S6/S7/RS7 models until the new models in 2-3 years.
