I don't have any pics with them on the car but will take some. Problem is right now my car is filthy with salt all over it and the wheels. It is supposed to warm up a bit here in the next couple of days so I'll wash it and then post some pics.

Hmmm, after a recent pothole damaged the OEM tires on my 20s, I'm considering these wheels for winter duty.

How can I possibly know if these will clear the calipers on the S6?

About to go this direction with 19" oemwheelsplus rims. I emailed them to see if the RS style 19" would clear the s6 calipers and they said "there will be 1-2mm space between the caliper and rim." Is that about the same amount of space you guys who have purchased 19" from here have? They also said "purchase at your own discretion." Doesn't sound too reassuring.

I just put my winters on and they barely fit. This is my third winter with them and no problems with them. Just be careful when getting them balanced. Make sure you know exactly where the calipers line up with the barrel of the wheel and avoid weights in that area. You could add some spacers to solve that problem but i personally don't want winter wheels pushed out further as i'd probably get a lot of spray off the tires on the sides of the car.

1-2mm, that's not much at all! I'm considering this too.

For anyone else who is interested I purchased a slightly different style from the same web site in 19", and order winter tires from tire rack. OEMWheels said they could not confirm they would clear the brakes, but I told them I'd take the chance based on nobbyv's original post. I'd like to report that they clear, but just barely. The wheels weights just clear the calipers but like 1-2mm's. It's very close, but it does work.

These are the tires that got from Tire Rack (255/40R-19 PIRELLI WINTER SOTTOZERO 3). This size makes them the same rolling diameter as the stock 20's.

These are the wheels in gunmetal

BTW: I had the same problem with FedEx, so make sure you're home. I caught them on the 3rd and last delivery attempt.

I called OEMWheels and they said that the set above (<a href="http://www.oemwheelsplus.com/index.php/audi/19-wheels/au525-19-gunmetal-machined-face-et35-wheels-set.html">AU525 19" ET35</a>) is about 28 lbs - is this ok (somewhat heavy, no?)? My alternative is <a href="http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/WheelCloseUpServlet?target=runWheelSearch&autoMake =Audi&autoModel=S6&autoYear=2016&autoModClar=&init ialPartNumber=HY98512355B&i1_Qty=4&wheelMake=Advan ti&wheelModel=DST+HY+Hybris&wheelFinish=Black+Pain ted&wheelFinish=Black+Painted&showRear=no&packageF low=false">HY HYBRIS from TireRack</a> which TireRack says is 21 lbs (but a bit more expensive). Should I care about this 7lbs per wheel difference for strictly winter tires? Perhaps heavier means less prone to bending? Thoughts?

While it might not matter to you for winter use, less unsprung mass equals better handling, better fuel economy, etc. More wheel weight does not necessarily correlate to strength unfortunately. It's more about the design and materials used. For example, a quality lightweight forged billet aluminum wheel will almost always be stronger than a much heavier steel or a welded multi piece wheel. And more expensive.

BTW, I talked to OEM Plus yesterday, and they will be getting the wheel on the top of page 3 back in, but not for a while. I liked them, but my wife didn't. I'm thinking of going with the RS7 wheels (in the first post) or the ones that match the existing wheels I have on the car from Audi.

Default Correct fit

I placed a factory order for a MY16 S6 and now I am looking for wheels for a set of winter tires. I like the 19" AU510 Matte GunMetal from OEM wheels plus. They are 19x8.5 with an offset of 35mm. Genuine Audi OEM wheels are 19x8.5 with an offset of 45mm. On eBay the same AU510 style is available with a 45mm offset from a dealer in Brooklyn (voxveritasvita). Any advice from current S6 owners? Will the wheel with 35mm offset fit or are the extra 10mm sticking out a problem? Has anybody purchased wheels from the eBay dealer in Brooklyn and what was your experience?
