Hmm, I never hit this button and my picture on the left comes and goes as it pleases. Im going to keep an eye on this more closely now. Never knew that button at the bottom would change view(graphic/camera).

Basically, there's not much reason anyone would use the graphic option if they have the top view unless there's too much covering the cameras.

Ok, so when I was backing out of my garage this morning I had the black screen on the left. Hit the bottom button and wouldnt you know it, the camera popped on. There has to be some sort of glitch making it go back and forth between the views when Im not pressing it.

I had a problem where the right side would occasionally go black and also the whole view would occasionally go black. Took it to dealer, who diagnosed it as a bad camera on passenger side. They had to order the camera which turned out to solve the problem. 2015 S6

Another thing, that some don't know about, is the top right function button, which will change the shading in the main camera view to suit parallel parking and backing.
