Random Drive through PA to NY
I figure that I have trolled enough around the forums and that I should post something. Last weekend, took an impromptu winding trip through some of the back roads in NE PA, NW NJ, & up to Bear Mountain, NY and thought I'd share some pix. All in all, good trip with only 1 well bent wheel as a casualty of "hoon-ing" around the scarred back roads.
Enjoy! (FYI not much for photos so these are from my phone)
Beginning of the trip. Not a bad sunrise for what ended up as a cloudy day.
Another glamour shot of the sunrise. Not bad for the PA Turnpike.
Once I got through some of the local highways, I made my way through a couple of the 'roads less travelled'
Glamour Shot! lol
Rolling On...
I'm a closet waterfall guy. If I see moving water, I have to snap a pic
Onwards to Bear Mountain!
View from the rocks by Perkins Memorial Tower
Scenic Panoramic Shot
And another glamour shot for good measure lol
Now I have to get my wheels straightened & refinished. Figured I'd wait till I put the 'snow shoes' on, but man is it annoying to fill air 2x a day...
Cheers!

Great pics, nice car. The scenery looks familiar - I used to go to Bear Mountain for an auto journalist driving event every spring (hoping to go back next year if I can make it work schedule-wise). Here's what I drove in 2012.
I'm 6'4" but still, the car looks tiny next to me.
