Default Rotor Options?

Anyone replace their front rotors with anything but OE yet? Not finding much of anything out there, even ECS appears to just sell just the OE rotors. Looking for a slotted/drilled set, also 2 pc setup if available.

Haven't had to replace the rotors on my A6 yet, but intend to use Adam's Rotors when necessary. I used these on my S8 and was very happy with the appearance and performance, when paired with CarboTech pads. He has a number of combinations of slotted and drilled rotors to be made up according to your wishes.

Assuming S6 4.0T, front rotors essentially are quasi two piece. Why they are more pricy too. The inner area is essentially a hat. It attaches to the rotor swept area with some built in pins. Also found in the original R8 front design that was then used with RS5, though w/ smaller rotor. Slim to none available aftermarket. Same sort of set up found on bigger M rides too, at least the preceding generation. I would consider it pretty performance oriented already, especially w/ calipers.

Rears are more standard and you will probably find some aftermarket if desired.

Thanks for the info. Is definitely something a bit unique, wasn't expecting that. Suppose, given some time, more aftermarket solutions will appear. In the meantime, if you don't mind adding some unsprung mass to your corners, the beforementioned Adam's Rotors look to be top notch quality replacements.
