Hey guys and gals,

I am getting the AWE exhaust in the near future for my s6, I remember someone posting the stock s6 exhaust diagram showing where you can cut it for storage. I know Audi offers clamps to make the exhaust one piece again. I can't seem to find it, does anyone have it saved?

A little short on garage space, so I can't just leave it as one piece lol . thanks!

There are clamps holding the pipes together between the front mufflers and the center mufflers. Some of my pictures show clamps between the center muffler and the rear mufflers. Ask the exhaust mechanic where they would prefer cuts to be made if they were installing it.

thanks, that's exactly what i'm looking for. I think that diagram shows where the clamps should be installed, from what others have posted the exhaust is one complete unit. I will be doing the install myself so I just wanted to see where Audi recommended clamping it.

yeah, i'm talking about the stock system, it's one piece. i know awe and other exhausts are in multiple pieces. thanks again!
