Default Saying HELLO!

Long story..but just traded my 2016 S5 (loaded) and my 2015 Infiniti Q70S for 1 2016 S6.

Glacier White over black, S6 Sports package, 20" wheels, LED lights, Caron Atlas, Driver Assist Package, cargo net, black headliner and space bars.

Trade ate my lunch but did not need 2 cars at my house in Los Angeles, so its worth it.

Pick it up Thursday - was at Long Beach port and on a truck as of Sunday.

Pics to come when I get it.

The only option I'm kinda po'd about is the Bose or B&O not being on it. Whey would they put all those other options and not sound?? My Q had 16 speakers and my S5 has the B&O.

Oh well. I'll just have to deal with 10 speakers and the sound of the V8.

I asked the dealer if they would swap the stock 20's for the RS2's I put on the S5...said they would think about it. I won't pay for another set as they were 4500.00 for wheels alone. ALltho..not 100% sure the offset is right for an S6.

Congrats! And definitely post pics! I hear the stock audio is not that bad at all. I wonder how difficult it would be to upgrade to the Bose.... I think it might not be that difficult, you should ask.

Hope you did not take a huge hit when trading the 2016 S5, however, you can't go wrong with an S6. Congrats!

I took the largest hit ever...but it is what it is. I'm sure I'll be happy with the S6 for awhile. I just want it to come in!!!!

Congrats! I'm pretty sure you'll soon forget the "huge hit" and the S5 once you strap into your new beast! The 4.0TT is addicting and I still smile when I drive my beast.

Picked her up late Thursday night. I really, really like it so far. Base stereo is not horrible, thank god.

I was really thinking of putting on the RS5 20 Rotor wheels I had on my S5 - but not sure I want to shell out another 4500. These 20's are a bit too inset for my taste - I always run flush wheels.

Any thoughts on H&R spacers on the S6? Maybe just 5-10MM - nothing dramatic.

Or my other option is find a lightly used set of the 21's from an RS7. What is the offset different between the stock 20's, the RS5 20's and the RS7 21's....if any?

On the stock 20's I can definitely recommend the 15mm spacers. It's not too much from the look point of view and it makes a big difference to the handling.

I too took a mega hit when I traded my 2016 A6 TDI for a 2016 S6 - but everytime I drive it I'm thankful I did it. You'll love the S6 - it's incredible

Congrats parkstr8 again! I have taken my fair share of hits after 12-18 months of ownership during my BMW days.

Example - traded my Dakar Yellow M3 for an Avus Blue after a state trooper radar tagged me (from the other side of the NY turnpike) going at 90mph when I was really going 110mph. He pulled me over 20 minutes later and chatted casually that he knew the 90 on his radar was bouncing off my yellow vehicle and made the U-turn to make the chase. My Valentine One was beeping when the radar gun tagged me but it was too late and could only brake from 110 to as slow as I could. Was given a 84 mph ticket.

And way too many on the road compliments from the opposite sex about how they like my plate and color.

Have fun and be safe!

But the S6 is worth the financial hit. Finally changed out my Winter tire/wheel package with my Summer shoes.

I'm def loving it...altho, believe it or not...there are some features that I miss from my 65k Infiniti Q70S:

backup cross path detection and braking (i backed into a trash can yesterday...and could never do that in the Q70S)
illuminated kick plates
down and welcome lighting on the exterior
power rear sunshade (i know it was an option but none at my dealer had it)
Adaptive headlights (altho I love my LED headlights)

I had the windows tinted and roof wrapped in gloss black vinyl, now i think i need to do the door trim, but leave the front grill and back trunk chrome.

Wonder if I can find a Black Optic front grill.

Next up is wheels...i kinda wish i had kept my original 2016 S5 black optic plus 20's...as I really like those for the S6.

Whats up with all the Audi replica wheels?? Id dig the RS7 20's - usually I stay far away...but China has gotten really good with replicas.

Trying to figure out the offset range on the S6 as the current 20's are SO close to the caliper!
