Mostly a PSA... the other day in my 2013 S6 I got the "adjusting suspension level" notification in my info console, and after about 2 minutes, an error popped up saying "Air Suspension System Fault" followed by a couple of other warnings about the braking system and headlight levels. Car was sitting way low on the suspension as well.

Took the car in, driving 35 mph to the dealer per the warning message. Looks like they ended up changing the suspension controller unit and from what I can read on the invoice, that didn't fix the problem so they ultimately ended up swapping out the air compressor as well.

Strangely, when it first happened on a Saturday, I was trying to do research to see if I could fix the issue with the VAG and I couldn't find a single documented case of this happening on any forum. So, maybe this thread will help if anyone in the future has the same issue.
