That's a C5 generation A6, this is the C7 generation S6 forum. Try over in the C5 section, but check for misfire codes - mine would overheat on really hot days in the early stages of misfiring issues. Coilpacks (6) and the two Power Output Stage (POS) packs are likely culprits.

FWIW, a properly running 2.7T won't blink at those hills y'all call mountains

Mine would pull and sustain massively extra-legal speeds up through the Eisenhower tunnel....
