Default Throttle Lag?

Hello Everyone,

My S6 is at the shop right now and I have given them the TSB Numbers that everyone has had success with regarding TSB 2035235/2. However they are saying that my ECU and TCU software is already at 13 so the TSB does not apply to my car which makes sense to me however I am not sure how the updates work. However I definitely have the issues that is described in this thread and have since I purchased the car 20k miles ago. I had it in for service once already and they updated the software and that helped the harsh shifting but not this hesitation or surging issue when making turns.

Here I found the description of the TSB:
http://www.revbase.com/BBBMotor/TSb/...dPdf?id=183081

Any advice for those that have went through this problem already....

They mentioned they are going to call Audi and get some advice on how to proceed.

Thanks

Default Tranny TSB

The latest tranny TSB does the trick.

Default I'll try to find the TSB number for TCU

I have a mid year 2013. It really did the trick. Lag is really nothing now, compared to before. If you are coming from a non-turbo car you may find the sudden turbo onset a bit much, though the lag is definitely no longer annoying in my car. I got the TSB from this forum.

Buy a Vag-Com tool (Rosstech?) and read out the versions yourself?

I gave my VIN to my nearest dealer after picking up my new to me 2013 S6 which has lag and super harsh tranny issue. They said "Nope, TSB doesn't apply, you are up to date"

VAG-COM says otherwise...ECU version 006, TCU version 009, not the 007 and 013 I need...

I just got a 2013 S6 and am experiencing some noise coming from the engine compartment as explained in the TSB... No throttle lag though. Will the dealer fix TSB's if the car is not in warranty anymore? Have 50,110 miles.
Thanks

In my experience no you would have to pay for the repair if it is just a tsb. Tsb's are not recalls.

APR's TCU tune might resolve your issue. They said today that they went to a lot off trouble to address this. You can get a 30 day money back trial, to see if it does fix it.

So you were right...got the car back today and sure enough the ecu version is still 0006! Sigh! I really don't understand the complexity here...I handed them the freaking tsb #!
