What is the real top end of stock S6 with no speed limiter?
Just curious if anyone has found the top end of this car with the speed limiter removed and stock- no tune. The car jumps to 155 really fast until big brother shuts down the fun. Pulling really hard to that point and it sure seems it had a lot more to go. I am thinking 185 ish is probably about right. I need to run some numbers though a speed calculator to see what it thinks it would be.

Many people don't realize that the right tires are needed as well for high speeds. My A6 came with H rated tires which matches the governed top speed of 130 MPH. V or Z or even W or Y tires need to be fitted on cars that are going to be driven without a governed speed - you should know what the top speed is to be sure that your tires can handle it. If you hit speeds in excess of what your tires are made for it can have a disasterous result.

2013 Audi S6 Test ? Review ? Car and Driver
I would believe it too
Top speed on the new car is limited to 155 mph, although we’re told the S6 would be capable of close to 190 if left ungoverned.

I think I read somewhere that the factory speed limiter is either 130 or 155 depending upon what tire/wheel package the car is delivered with... all weather tires get you a lower speed limit.
Somewhere on Youtube is a video of a superbike running 300KPH (180MPH) on the autobahn. After a couple of minutes he pulls over from the left lane and a few seconds later an S6 (RS6?) comes blowing past him.
