2013 S7 Judder/Vibration
I'm a new owner of a 2013 CPO S7 with about 16k mi on it. I've noticed that if I'm crusing at high way speeds 65 mph and i floor it or accelarate agressively there is abit of vibration that seems to come from the engine through the steering column as the clutch engages. It's almost an elastic feeling. I'm wondering if anyone else has noticed this issue, whether its just a quirk of the DCG transmission, or maybe related to the 4-8 cylinder conversion? Could it be an issue with the engine mounts and damping?
I was able to have the throttle lag and the overly aggressive characteristics of s-mode corrected by TSBs, but i'm not sure how to best describe this issue to the dealer. I'm also trying to figure out if this is a known issue/ just live with it thing or unique to my vehicle (ie a problem that can be fixed)
Thanks in advance for any input.

The vibration i'm noticing does not seem to be related to the transmission, but seems to occur even while the car is in M mode and in a particular gear. I notice the vibration is there, but lesser under lesser throttle. I'm wondering if perhaps this is related to the fuel line issue and claps that need to be replaced.

@JustDriveIt - In neutral with the Ebrake or when in P will produce the same vibration - the vibration is throttle dependant. I took the car to the dealer yesterday because i saw an interesting TSB on the S6 forum related to a vibration at 1,000 and 3,000 rpms. I drove the S7 with a Tech who thinks he may know what the problem is. Apparently, the front down pipes that Audi chose for the 4.0T engine on the S6, S7, A8 etc. don't dampen the vibrations appropriately. The tech said that while the issue is much more subtle on the S7/S6 and harder to diagnose, since it typically occurs at the same rpms where the shift is programmed. To futher diagnose we drive the car in M mode and he tried to hold certian RPMS to see if the vibration came out. The tech said that the issue is much more obvious in the A8, including through the 2015 model, and they're working with Audi to determine the right process and get down pipes that are more appropirately designed.
The plot thickens.

If it happens in neutral like you say I would agree that its the down pipe vibration that some people with the 4,0TFSI engine have. I have heard that Audi will redesign the downpipes or just add a counter balance weight \ vibration dampener. I guess only time will tell what they do. But big business dictates not spending the money to redesign the whole thing.
