I ordered the Black Optic package with the 21" wheels. Can someone confirm that they're the same wheels as on a 2015 S7? I saw a photo of the wheels on the German Audi site and the rotor arms looked almost blacked out. Thanks in advance.

I haven't seen any pics of the 21" wheels yet, but since they are already out in the UK, the UK brochure might have them. I haven't had a chance to look yet but it's below if you want to take a look:

I doubt they are the same. I have a 2015 S7 w/ Black Optic, and they are 20" wheels, with 5 split spokes. You said "rotor arms" which makes me think they are like the S6 wheels with 5 dark colored thick rotors, which are sweet wheels, too.

For the black optics package, the new S6 wheels per the order guide description seem to be the same as S7 Black Optics wheels. As far as I can tell, the "rotor arms" wheels have been discontinued and aren't making an appearance in 2016 (based on the order guide and AoA info).

I am trying to place an order for a 2016 S7 and the dealer is telling me the 21" Black Optic Package is no longer being offered and that the 20" Black Optic Package is the only option.


Does anyone know if this is correct? It is still being shown on the Audi USA website and 2016 order guide.

I ordered mine on tuesday, and I was told by my dealer I had a choice of the 20" or the 21" black optic. I went with the 20" just on personal preference.
