Hello, everyone wanted to get some advice. I have a 2015 S7 with about 64k miles. I bought it with 42k miles exactly a year ago yesterday. My year anniversary I got the news from the dealer that one turbo is gone and the other is sure to follow. The total came to $9600 for parts and labor. I had an extended warranty which will pay 5k leaving me to cover the remainder out of pocket. My questions to you guys how often does this happen, what causes it to happen, and does anyone know of a good extended warranty company? The warranty that I had says that the max is $5000 for the life of the policy. So I'm looking for another ewc. Thanks for your help!

It happens, but not all that often. The two major contributors seem to be: 1) and aftermarket engine tune and 2) a clogged oil screen in the turbo lubrication line. If yours falls into number 2, the dealer may be able to reach out to AoA and try to get some "good will" assistance with the repair. Sometimes they give it and sometimes they don't.
