Default Aftermarket brake pads

My s7 makes crazy amounts squealing noises when I brake. My 2004 Corolla makes less noise then this, it's embarrassing. I have made an appointment with my local dealer to get this checked out the second time, first time they cleaned the brakes claiming there was a lot of brake dust. That didn't help any bit, on the way back the car made the same noises. From what I've read a good set of carbon ceramic brake pads should fix this. I want to know if anyone has tried carbon ceramics on their S7 and how they performed when it comes to squealing and stopping power. Also let me know the best brand to go with!!

Default I have had good luck with the folks at Carbotech...

… Located in the Carolinas, their techs have been patient and responsive. You tell them what you want in your performance envelop and they will either have it on the shelf or pour a custom pad for you.

From my experience, brake squeal has been associated with chatter on the back of the pads. Greasing them with high temp pad grease has cured it for me.

Happy Motoring
