I was wrong
According to Audi USA and my dealer my S7 is on the Florida Highway that left Emden on May 6th and is currently under weigh heading to Jacksonville. Scheduled to arrive May 19th. So, it should be in Charlotte by the end of May. That's two weeks ahead of my expectations. Pretty good I say! Bravo Audi!!
I ordered the car on March 3rd - FOB no later than March 21st - not bad I think.
Now I wish we were going to Charlotte two weeks earlier
Note: I received my Cust in Waiting - European Port email on May 7th. It said that my S7 was on its way to Emden when, if recent info is true, it was actually on board the Florida Highway on its way to Jacksonville FL. It's all good but databases don't get updated immediately, that's obvious
I had a black E63 before and loved the power and color combo (black on black). I saw this RS7 in the showroom and I fell in love with the s7 /rS7. I always wanted the a7 but I waited until the 2016 model and more HP . Glad I waited I can't wait, the avatar is the Color combo I am getting.
I picked up the car yesterday afternoon. I'm looking forward to taking it out for a drive this weekend. So far I'm very impressed with the fit and finish. I didn't know the door sills were lighted. The engine really rockets the car forward. I'm looking forward to seeing how the car handles snow (yes, I'll be adding Winter wheels and tires). I'll post more pictures this weekend when I have some time.
I have the exact same car on order. Sepang Blue is quire rare in the UK, so your pictures have convinced me I made the right colour choice!
The only think I don't like is that we can't choose the Black Optic pack here in the UK, so we have polished brightwork around the windows and grill, with aluminium mirrors.
