ATT Audi Connect - Is there a better place to post this?
I looked and really didn't find a particular place - forum to post this type of question. I thought maybe Electronics but it didn't seem to be an exact fit so here goes:
Hello, Looking over the options on our new order it lists Audi Connect ATT the option code is ATT. I have a question into the dealer but pretty sure that means we will get a SIM card in the S7 for the ATT network.
1 - am I correct?
2 - any owners of Audi Connect in NC or anywhere for that matter have comments as to ATT's coverage or any other providers as well?
3 - how do you like Audi Connect overall?
Thanks,
Gary

I have Audi Connect in both my S5 and A3. The S5 is thru T-Mobile (3G) and the A3 is thru ATT (4G LTE). The A7/S7 will be thru ATT.
Can't comment on coverage in NC, I suggest you look at the coverage map on the ATT website.
I find Audi Connect very useful. I just paid for the next 30 months for the S5 and will continue it in the A3 when the 6 month trial runs out.
Looking forward to in in the S7 when it arrives!

so I guess that allows 5GB. Is that 5Gb/month or total over the 6months? Since the writeup on website doesn't specify I guess it means 5GB over the 6months?
So if that is true then 30GB over 30 months at $499.00 is a higher cost.
Also haven't found any info on what the overage costs would be. Audi does advertise that an email can be sent to owner when the data threshold is being reached but nothing about options after that. Probably buy another 6 or 30 months I guess.
Any insights?

I've already got a 30GB/month data plan and now that they've added rollover, the odds of me ever hitting an overage are slim-to-none (and even if I do, the overage rates are lower than the pre-pay plans).
