Default Conservative rim upgrade.

OK, Finally decided on new rims for the S7. Didn’t like the original wheel choices, so opted for cheap 19s figuring I’d upgrade. I preferred OEM, and always liked the A7 20” 10 spoke, but seemed weird to effectively downgrade, plus wanted a bit more pop. So went with A8 20” 10 spoke – which are all silver instead of the grey contrast. Not sure how comes off in pix, but they really sing on the Phantom black. True, the handful of A/S7 people may mistake me for an A7. But who cares? Aesthetically its perfect for me – very classy, great dazzle (but no hit of old man (64) trying to be boy racer) and now the shoes fit the suit. Take a look.

Nice. Very classy. I think they look great. I'm considering trading up to the S7. Hoping to hang on to my 20" rims for winter use and trade the 19"s with the car. Looks like you've confirmed for me that the 20"rs will clear the the brakes.

Happy motoring

You'll love the grunt, sound and clutch/suspension of the s7. Test drove th a7 a lot before going s7, well worth the upgrade, go for it!

Like those wheels. Am sick of the black/titanium gangster looking wheels and the dull looking wheels that the a6 and a7 series seems to adopted.

What is the part number for those rims?

Thanks - and sorry don't have a part #. But they're one of the stock wheels for the A8. The Audi parts could tell you. (Main thing for me was to make sure the weren't the A7 10 spokes which are basically the same, but have grey between the spokes. The A8 wheels are all silver which makes them really standout on a black car).

Here are some conservative wheel upgrades; some may consider it as OEM+

Well I just turned 64 last week and pick my 2015 Phantom Black S7 Friday. I opted for the 20" wheels knowing that I will also get a winter wheel/tire set up and now am looking at options for that or a summer wheel and switch tires around. You gave me something to think about.

This is exciting as I have never driven an S7, just an A7 and used my imagination. Well that will change tomorrow.
