I'm in Northern NJ, and have had my S7 since the very end of July. I've driven over 12,000 miles with about 70% on the 19" Audi wheel package. I have hit a few pot holes and haven't had any damage. Usually when I hit a pot hole, I'm concerned I might have damaged a tie rod end as I replaced probable half a dozen on my old A6 over 208,000 miles. I sure hope the S7 has better tie rod ends. I can't even begin to say how happy I am that I bought the S7!

Thanks Pete, it sounds like the a 19" wheel is the move, either aftermarket or package from Audi, should I pull the trigger on the S7.

So the final offer it seems is $57,488 for a CPO 2013 S7 with 23k miles. Has new brakes and tires on the 20" wheels. Also has Audi Care with 2 maintenance visits left. Comfort seats was the primary add on option for the original buyer.

Close to pulling the trigger... is this a good or fair deal?

I used Edmunds.com and came up with $50,299 trade in and $54,858 retail. You can run the numbers you self and add options, location and color.

Appraise a Used Car at Edmunds.com

Hi elonepb, see what I just posted here re winter wheel/tire ideas in the post titled "S7 ('16) Winter Wheels and Tires". These worked great for me in WI.

That's A LOT.

I bought mine 3 months ago (42k CPO) with B&O sound and everything else for 54k.

Then other dealers I had emailed emailed me back and one with 26k miles and B&O and everything offered me one for 56k 3 months ago. You should get a better deal.

Hi - did you end up getting the S7? It's a great car.

In case you didn't get my reply to your PM, I have not had any pothole problems. I've had my S7 for about 19 months and have 44,000 miles, with about 15,000 of those on the 19" winters.

I tend to increase following distance so I can see what's ahead of me. I've hit a few on the 19s without issue, and fewer on the 20s without issue.

The toughest time is when you're ready to swap back to the summers. The roads are usually pretty chewed up in late March before they get patched, so there are about 3-4 weeks of risk if you swap in late March like I do. By that time, I know where all the big potholes are and just dodge them when I've got my summers back on.
