My new 2013 Audi S7 w/ some mods
Just thought I'd share my latest Audi pickup, 2013 S7 in Estoril Blue Crystal with lunar silver interior, carbon inlays, 20" sport wheels, full LED headlights, innovation package, cold weather package, black headliner. Only options not selected were comfort seats (wanted the diamond stitching) and B&O stereo (not worth $6k).
So far I've found the S7 to be a great GT car with a sporty side to it. The twin turbo V8 is quite powerful and I suspect under rated from the factory. DSG transmission is smooth and very fast on the shifts. However, like mentioned previously, DSG shifts are fairly uneventful (one could even call them soul-less ) Future plans include wheel spacers for stock wheels, 21" summer wheels (HRE/ADV1), APR ecu tune, and perhaps a suspension lowering module. Hoping this will hold me over until I get my TT R8 back from AMS
Below are some pictures I snapped at pickup.
Dropped the car off for a full detail & clear film protection on full front end, rockers, and rear bumper. Beltronics STiR+ radar detector, Laser Interceptor jammers, 3M Crystalline Tint (50% sides 70% front), and colour matched side markers. Thanks to Eddie & Matt @ Detailing Dynamics for doing an impeccable job once again!
Beltronics STiR+ display built into mirror, custom leather wrapped control box for radar and laser
Some outside shots, apologies for the sub-par iphone shots...

No, neither the side assist nor the adaptive cruise control set off the beltronics radar. I have found that driving in the blind spot of a car with side assist will set of a k band alert on some radars though. As a side note, I have the laser detection falsing under hard acceleration that is common with some installed units. Going to rectify it with a filter, but until then I have the laser function off on the STiR. The laser jammers should be sufficient anyhow.

Beautiful car. Are you looking at spacers just for appearance or some other purpose? The stock setup seems to fill out the fenders pretty well. Have you seen other cars with spacers? I ask only because I saw a picture of an S7 with spacers that looked very odd with the wheels sticking out beyond the fenders in a kind of hillbilly way.

I've never had false Laser from my Belltronics on Hard Acceleration, but to get occasional falses from odd taillights.
S7 looks VERY nice with the Side Marker Delete!
Nice job
