Default Need help with A6 C6 headlights

Hello everyone, need help! does anyone knows if the original headlights parts# 4F0941029FA/4F0941030FA ,replacement parts# 4F0941029DK/4F0941030DK ,can I use same parts# 4F0941029 /4F0941030 but marked like ER or DR or CP instead?will the headlights pair just lose some function or won't working at all? any chance if can use halogen lights as well, will the dashboard reminding sign can be off with halogen headlights?

The car is 2011 A6 C6 3.0 Supercharged prestige, original headlights damaged and the replacements just too expensive! Thanks a lot for your help!

It looks like the FA or DR indicate curving headlights or not.. you may have to look at the option sticker to verify if you don't know for sure.

You can also try www.car-part.com for used in your area..

I suspect if you go with something other than factory original, you'll have the indicator on the dash bleeping at you. I currently have an 08 A6 with curve; right headlight wiring has crumbled insulation and I'm getting failure alarms every time I start. I can get the headlight for around $600(ish)

This should tell you what the various numbers are - Audi - A6 - 2010 - Electrical Teile Katalog (Pats Catalog)

There may be a difference between USA and European numbers.

Thanks for all the help. After dismantled, I found the driver side has two connectors, with parts# 1J0973735 and #1J0973737, does anyone knows both of them will be use to connect the driver side headlights housing or any idea?

You have to use the same part number as your original headlights. They have AFS (cornering function).

I have a set of adaptive headlights from a 2005 that I need to sell. Anyone know what the going rate is for these lights?
