Golf Clubs?
Sad to say my 2006 A6 is now at the point where we are going to have to part ways.....
I tried a quick search but didn't find what I was looking for.....
I would love some feedback from A3 owners regarding trunk space. I want to keep the 220 horses, but I no longer need the back seat room. I do need space in the trunk for my golf clubs. Can anyone give me a heads up on how well the A3 trunk accommodates your clubs?

Mine fit diagonally with the driver removed and placed across seperately. That's in the trunk only without folding the seats. Seats folded forward you can easily fit two, maybe three full cart bags.

I have an s3 with the 60/40 folding seats. I have to push one forward for my bag to fit but it doesn't have to be all the way down. Really it needs about 2" and I wouldn't have to do that. As mentioned though if you lay the seats down you can easily get two bags in if not 3.

I have no trouble getting a full size staff bag, with all of the clubs in it, in the trunk of my wife's A3. I do not need to fold the seats down to do this.
When we want to take the A3 and 2 sets of clubs, well that is a different story. We fold the passenger's side seat down and put the bottom of both bags through into the back seat.

I have a TaylorMade stand bag and if I work with it I can get it in with all the clubs still in the bag. If I take the driver out (TM M1 - standard length) then they fit with no struggle at all. As mentioned above two bags requires a seat fold down. If you have more clubs than that then take your friend's Q7.

Acsi is a very nice place... Maybe it's open. Does anyone know if it's open in quarantine? I would just love to get out of my house and play golf with my friends. I remember that college was the first time I had ever truly 'golfed'. I roomed with two guys on the university golf team. One took me out on a local course, during their off-season, to show me the game. It ended up snowing on us. I told him we could leave ( I mean, he played all the time and I bet sleet and cold wet snow was not his favorite ) because he couldn't be having fun. He wouldn't leave and by the time we finished 9, putting created white near-racquetball-sized blobs. He was a good roommate hah. Now I can just sit at home and read articles like windtreegolf.com.
