PCV part number question
I am want to replace my PCV on my 2010 A4 Quattro. I took a picture of the part number, 06H103495J. Looking it up it appears that the latest version is 06H103495AE. But two places I found on line specifically state that it does not fit the “2010 Audi A4 Quattro Base” even though it specifically says has 06H103495J listed as a previous OEM
That seems unlikely it would not work fine but wanted to see if anyone had any thoughts.
Thank you,
Joel

I think this part can be tricky. I would get the part from an Audi dealer by having them lookup the VIN. Don't search by part number. I'm sure the parts probably fit, but there were changes to PCV valve that may cause problems if you don't use the right one.

Delta Rover - I have not has a stage 1 oil consumption repair. This car is out of warranty so would like to avoid the expense if possible. So many posts describe my issue exactly and say changing the PCV fixed the problem.
Also, I called the dealership as suggested, thank you very very much for that suggestion. Apparently the part number 06H103495AE is ok for my car. So going to go for it.
Jeremy, I looked around and took you up on ordering from you. Looking forward to getting my parts.
Thank you both. I'll let you know how it turns out.

Have you taken a look at the cap that sits on top of the PCV valve? you can pop it off and see if the gasket is toast. That would definitely cause a vacuum leak. They changed this part on my 2013 as part of a service campaign. There are videos on youtube on how to check this. The humble mechanic has lots of good info on the PCV valve.

After much time not replacing the PCV I finally did and it fixed both the reported vacuum leak, running lean and not surprisingly low oil pressure. If there is a nest time I will check the gasket first.
