After the trail period with free AT&T data expired, I signed up at myaudiconnect.com for 1GB @ $10 a month. But I use more than 1GB. So I asked AT&T to put the car on my Family Share data plan for $10 per month. Just for doing this, AT&T gave me another 6 months of free data use in my Audi TT. What a deal!

If you want this, first call Audi at 877-505-2834 to get the data phone number for your car. Then ask to be transferred to AT&T, or call them at 866-975-0245.

Thanks for the info. Curious thing is that when I log into myaudiconnect, it says that my subscription is active until late 2019. That would mean almost 3 years of free service??? What are you guys seeing when you log into myaudiconnect for MY17 TT/TTS?

I'm into 2018 on my MY16.

My account shows 11/6/2019, so 3 years from date of purchase. But in Usage History it shows the data plan ending 5/6/2017 as you'd expect. There are two sides to the equation. Audi gives you 3 years of data for free but only 6 months of connectivity.

Yesterday, I got a text message from AT&T that said, "As part of your Connected Car Bonus Data promotion, 1 GB of bonus data will be added to your mobile share group each bill cycle starting on 12/08/2016. Enjoy your bonus data!"

I know it's crazy, but I now have a warm, fuzzy feeling about AT&T, like they just gave me a personal Christmas present.

Thanks. That makes more sense, and I'm also seeing a data plan ending date that is 6 months out. 6GB isn't very much for the entire trial period, and I've already used .5GB barely doing anything.
