Default Bluetooth ending calls

Hi.

I'm facing an issue, i have an audi TT 2016, recently switched from iphone to samsung galaxy s7 and everytime when i make a call, once established the dashboard starts to show "ending call" and then "connecting" and then again "ending call", so it makes that any conversation under bluetooth has a talking time of 5 seconds and a "ending call" that means i can't hear anybody for 1 sec, and it keeps looping again and again. any idea? i tried clearing the cache of the phone, but it didn't work.

I once had an Android phone that acted like that. I discovered that I initially on Bluetooth connection never let the contacts upload complete and it interfered with calls. I removed my connection from the Audi system and started over and letting it complete the contact upload. Problem went away. You may not have the same problem, but I thought I'd throw it out there. GL
Ps. My TT at the time was an 2008 TT Quattro coupe using an Android phone from LG with a Verizon backend.

Be sure to remove the device in the MMI Bluetooth settings before trying to re-pair the phone.
Also a hard reboot of the MMI couldn't hurt.

Yes, I constantly get bluetooth call disconnects in my 2016 TT and iPhone 6s (running any iOS 10.x.x version). It seems to be worse when USB is connected. I've paired/repaired my phone and MMI many times to no avail.

I've actually had better luck with my iPhone 6S connected via USB. Go figger.

2017 TTS. No problems with iPhone 6s plus via bluetooth or Carplay.

Check your manual. It should say something like press the menu button+center controller+upper right function button briefly until the MMI screen starts to reboot. The TT might be a bit different.

When switching to a new phone I recommend factory resetting Bluetooth and Directory to get rid of any settings and data from the previous phone that may cause issues with the new phone. Factory reset should be under Main Menu|Setup MMI and then you can choose which part you want to reset. Paired phones leave a footprint behind even if you delete the profile. A factory reset will get rid of that footprint and reset the Bluetooth stack to a clean slate.

That's actually a really good idea, and one that I'll keep in mind when I upgrade to the new iPhone 8. Thanks!
