Waze Coming Closer To Launch For Android Auto ? Autoomobile

Im a Waze beta tester(for the past 2 years) and nothing has been brought up in the recent updates(latest this afternoon) about the integration. Ill go check the beta forums to see if anything has been discussed.

EDIT: Just checked the forum. This was the latest response by one of the Waze leaders:

"Hello everyone,

There are no news regarding AA on our side. We would be happy to share with you the roadmap and give you more details but at the moment there is nothing to share.

Generally you should know that we would like to have beta testing for AA but it's not 100% up to Waze to decide (since it's Google's decision).

That being said, how would the actual practice of marking things on the road happen via Android Auto? If its on the main screen, which isnt touch, you are not getting all the benefits of Waze.

Well that's a little disappointing. Regarding the lack of touchscreen, I would not care so much about reporting stuff as I would seeing what others have reported.

I get it but that's the big thing about waze. If I pass a cop I want to mark it for others. As well as if I pass a place marked with a cop and one isn't there, I can unmark it.

Was Googgling about Waze and android auto. It's not there yet but with the newest update to Android Auto got a drop down to select my Maps. Not just audio. so changes are comming. NOte this was on a Chevy but from my understanding Android Auto is all the same.
