Default Do I need a new clutch?

I'm swapping out a long block. This clutch looks good. Should I replace it?

Well, it will never be easier :-). At least replace the slave cyl. They fail and the replacement requires dropping the transaxle.

I'd say replace the three clutch pieces. Or, at a minimum, the slave cylinder/ throw out bearing. Use OEM slave/throw out only. Don't get tempted by cheap junk. The transmission only removal is a bitch on quattro TT's....
