Default Can I go around this somehow DIY?

My 2 weeks old A4 ended up in the service for more then a month = transmission gearbox replacement. I got it back last Friday.
All looks and feels good with the car but having a problem with MMI and Android auto. It was working well before...the maps, the phone...
The bluetooth works fine, can call and receive calls, reply to txt messages.
But the android auto just won't come up on the MMI screen.
I have reset the MMI completely several times, also re-installed the AA on my LG G3.
Whenever I am connecting the USB cable, endless asking me to ALLOW connection, the phone is showing me it is connected but the MMI screen only blinks for fraction of a second and the AA won't show up there. When I start the AA on the phone, this screen below comes up....
I made a call to the service again for two days from now, suspecting when they replaced the mechanical parts may happen they had to load a software what creates me this result:

sorry for the screenshot size I was expecting it smaller.
we can see in the top left corner, the usb is plugged in, the AA is active, the phone is through bt, the debug mode is on...

forgot
AA ver 2.0.642703-release

Are you sure you're using a USB cable capable of the data transfer ?

Some lower quality USB cables ( like the ones you see in gas stations ) don't support the bandwidth needed and I imagine it would error.

it is the original audi cable and I was using this same cable before the service
but easy to check, I have tons of cables laying around in my boys rooms...
I assume this must be the AA revision, that would be weird from audi side doing a change leading to this message but I will check that as well, I have tomorrow a service schedule

Have you tried connecting another Android phone entirely to see if that works?

I have tried other celphone (my son's cyanogenmod one+) and connected well
I have tried also couple other usb cables laying around in the house, these worked well beside the original audi cable
but my LG G3 not, keeps ticking the usb port every couple seconds the message pops up to allow connection
so either the port is worn out,
or that stupid skype screwed up something again when I had to install it couple weeks ago (I promised myself last time somewhere last year that I don't want to see it again on my phone)
can't figure where or how the usb settings, not in usb debugging mode...I may have to reinstall the OS again

If your son's phone works fine, I'm guessing your phone is the culprit. Did you try uninstalling skype and seeing if it works (since you think Skype could be the issue)?

I did the factory reset for this my LG G3, reload all my apps and now all just working fine.
This is not a first time I can relate any phone miss function to skype especialy they've got under MS umbrella

Lol. Wow. Factory reset for this!? I think if you had deleted the apps that would tag along with Android Auto and just done a flash of the cache which you can do via Fastbook/Bootloader for any device, you'd have been fine.

just reloaded the OS and that is a best cleaner...
I have most of my apps (and music, pictures, docs) installed on the SD anyway
longest takes me to disable all the bloatware
