Hello guys,

I was wondering what is the look of the xenon headlamps in daytime mode and nighttime mode. Any pictures to share?

There's lot of pictures of the LED headlamps, but none of the xenon...

I had to go to the dealer to see what they looked like before I decided which model I wanted. They look similar to how the old Audis of 10 years ago looked. The Xenon bulb is a beam type of bulb, and the daytime running lights are the old variety that look almost like small row of Christmas lights. IMO the LEDs look much nicer.

I started a "pics of season of Audi A4's" thread there's some pictures of S-line cars with regular headlights.

I was looking for the same, night/day time pics of the standard headlights,
maybe they'll post some more up here

Great! This is exactly what I was looking for! Not has nice has the LEDs, but they are not bad at all!

They did such a bad job with the Xenon that it basically forced me to w/ LED. It just doesn't look nearly as good.

I think the Xenons look pretty good, but that's obviously subjective. From the driver's seat IMO they put out fantastic light in terms of area illuminated, intensity, and color. It's possible I'm less critical about the appearance and more impressed by the light output, though, because I'm coming from a 2000 ES300 with halogen headlights.

My X3 has halogens and it is one of the worst I have ever experienced!!!! LEDs and xenons are so much better any day.

I agree. My wife's 2016 Pilot has halogen headlights and they are so dim in comparison to the LEDs in my A4.
