Q7 Build Week Allocation

Q7 Build Week Allocation
Hi All
I ordered my new Q7 5 weeks ago and although given an order number to track through the "your Audi" site I am getting no answers. 5 weeks in and I have not been allocated a build weeks - Is this normal as I've read elsewhere that others get allocated within days.
Just looking for others experience on this subject.
No patience now I want my new Car 😬😬

You should be able to see your build week once it changes to "Order Received". The following was posted on the vwaudiforum which i used to track mine last year:
1) Login to “Your Audi”
2) Paste the following into the web browser window, over the URL you've just used to login:
https://www.audi.co.uk/myaudi-public-api/services/v1/orders/<insert your order number> - e.g. ..orders/23451234
Open JSONLint - The JSON Validator. in another browser windows and cut and paste in content from first window to make it more readable. Build week is near the bottom.
These are the dates my order passed through for reference:
orderStatus":"00","statusDate":"2016-02-12"} Essentially Order Taken
orderStatus":"10","statusDate":"2016-02-18"} order received
orderStatus":"20","statusDate":"2016-04-08"} preperation stage
orderStatus":"21","statusDate":"2016-04-28"} in panel shop
orderStatus":"22","statusDate":"2016-04-29"} in paint shop
orderStatus":"23","statusDate":"2016-04-30"} in assembly
orderStatus":"24","statusDate":"2016-05-02"} in quality control
orderStatus":"30","statusDate":"2016-05-09 "} left factory (Bratislava) / train to Emden
orderStatus":"38","statusDate":"2016-05-??"} at Emden
orderStatus":"39","statusDate":"2016-05-14"} on its way to the UK / on the boat
orderStatus":"40","statusDate":"2016-05-17"} at UK port / Ready for transport to dealer
orderStatus":"60","statusDate":"2016-05-??"} in transit to dealer
orderStatus":"70","statusDate":"2016-05-20"} arrived at dealer
My build week bounced around by about 6 weeks but once it changed to 20, it was locked in and didn't move.

It is frustrating! I still remember those days well :-)
Once you get about 4 weeks out and the week is locked it becomes more bearable. I think I had my build week come in from mid-may to beginning of April only to go out to the end of June before landing on first week of May.

How long did you have to wait from your initial order to get your build week allocated (even if it did change several times) I just could it strange that I haven't heard anything after 5 weeks ? Or is it just me ??

Does seem a long time. I placed my order on the 6th Feb in my local Audi dealer (UK). He was able to amend an order they already had in the process on his spreadsheet and told be then that he though the build week would probably be mid to end of April.
I think he called me the following week to say he thought it would be delayed due to part shortages related to the Dynamic pack and pan roof. 18th Feb as per timeline above was when I could track on youraudi.
I've heard of people going through brokers like drive the deal being messed about.
