Start-Stop

Or...
Or at least have the option turned on permanently even when the car is shut down. On my ex Porsche Macan I had the same button which I turned on the day that I took delivery to avoid having the car turn off on every stop. It was good because it never reset after turning off the ignition. Probably can be done thru VAG...who knows, for now every time that I push Start Engine on the A4 I go an push the Auto on/off right away, hate hate haaaaaateeeee when this cars turns off at traffic lights

Keep in mind that the start-stop is controlled by brake pedal pressure. Once you've had the car for a while, you'll get very good at applying just the right amount of pressure for it to not turn off when you don't want it to...

I don't think it is possible. If it was, our resident expert Mitchfin would have put it up. There is a thread in the Q7 group where someone managed to deactivate it by changing some voltage value but idk whether it works in our A4 (I was guessing it should since platforms are the same but not sure).

I loathe the start/stop function in the A4. First off I am unwilling to divert any of my attention to how hard I press on the brake pedal at a stop. There are more pressing things that demand my full attention such as traffic and pedestrians. Second, I can't stand the way the car shudders upon start up. First thing I do is disable start/stop when I first turn on the car.
