How to open the trunk from inside the car?
How do you open the trunk when you are inside the car? I normally have to remove the key and press the remote, but there must be an easier way?

At the rear of the driver's door map pocket are three pull switches. At least on my '03 there are 3 - I seem to recall the tilt alarm and inside motion sensor were deleted in '04. On mine at least, the bottom switch is for the trunk. If you pull it and the trunk doesn't unlock, it has been locked with the key at the trunk lock.
If by "inside the car" you mean "inside the trunk," there is a manual trunk release in there.
Do you have an owner's manual? Might be worth getting one if not.

There also is the issue that you may not be able to put the seat down to get into the trunk which I used on my A4 a few times before I fixed the door switch. I know it's there to protect someone that locks themselves in the trunk...

They do on a sedan, but I have no idea on the cab. That part of the car is used to beef up the structure on most cabs and therefore may not have that ability.
