Headlight washer

Disable it? Check my signature for VCDS mods, if you have a Rosstech cable, you can use that to adjust how often they come on, maybe even off entirely, in terms of coming on in conjunction with the regular ones. Otherwise, nothing you can do.

1) VAG-COM Disable Headlight Washers
[09 – Cent. Elect.] [Coding - 07] -> Long Coding Helper -> Byte 18
Bit 0 - Remove check mark (1 = headlight washers installed)
Can someone with a vag-com cable try this and let me know if it works. If so, then I'll buy the cable/software. Thanks.

I would really like to know the answer to this question as well. According to some Q5/Q7 threads, the vag-com code is as follows:
1) VAG-COM Disable Headlight Washers
[09 – Cent. Elect.] [Coding - 07] -> Long Coding Helper -> Byte 18
Bit 0 - Remove check mark (1 = headlight washers installed)
Can someone with a vag-com cable try this and let me know if it works. If so, then I'll buy the cable/software. Thanks.

just buy the obd11...its worth having as its much cheaper and can do everything the vcds can...i just bought one and love it...i used it to code windows up with remote, lower car, double beep when unlocking car, close trunk with remote, early correction with lane keep assist, and plenty more. its worth the $60.
OBD11 ...if you don't mind buying "credits". That ruffles my feathers a bit, and it also requires an internet connection. If you do a lot of tinkering or want to do any long coding, it's VCDS or XTool (or OBD11 Pro).
