Default 2017 Q7 New Owner

I've been a member of this forum for several years when I planned on buying an A6. When I finally pulled the trigger, I ended up getting the Q7. It's Premium Plus in Ink Blue. Thinking of having a clear bra installed on the front end, either DIY or professionally. Any suggestions?

Prices vary greatly by region and installer. Best to look around at a few local places.

I had Suntek PPF installed by Auto Shield of Columbia for $1800 which included my full hood, fenders, quarter panels, grill surround, bumper and lower valance, headlights, B pillars, luggage area and smoked Lamin X on the tail lights. If you cant find a place in ATL to do it for that price or less it maybe worth a trip up to Columbia. My guy will travel too if you're interested.

When we pick ours up this Wed. from the dealer, its going straight into an enclosed trailer and to the Xpel installer for Xpel ultimate everywhere except the rear tailgate. Then back in the trailer and over to the Opticoat Pro + installer.. Then she gets to be driven :-). Paying this much for a car, its worth it to me to have it professionally protected.

Can they cover the hood without a seem? Back nine years ago when I had my wife's Lexus done, I couldn't find anyone that could fully cover the hood without a seem.

Why not the rear tailgate? Seems like that addition shouldn't be too much extra.
