Default Adding soft close doors.

Hi, I have been in friends cars that had soft close power doors. I like them a lot. Has anybody added them themselves? I know they are part of the Luxury Package. Thanks,

Just order a new Q with the option. Not sure retrofiting anything like this will be inexpensive

I agree...probably be less expensive to buy a monkey and train him to fully close the door behind you

Probably this info won't help much, but there is a company in Korea who does retrofit for the soft door closing for 4M Q7. They charge around 2500 USD I believe. So probably if you do it yourself, it might cost less.

You can get a kit from Germany for €500 per door.

I would think that its harder to just get the door to the edge of the frame, and let it sit and close itself, than slamming the door shut. No?

I agree I actually find it hard to use the soft close doors most of the time the door just shuts.

No sensors to prevent stuck fingers from getting trapped? Even power windows have that
