Smile Looking at Used 2014 A8L; what do I need to know?

I'm looking at buying a used 2014 A8L 3.0 in the immediate future. Most I'm looking at are in the 50-65K mileage range. All I hear about these are how fantastic they are; can't wait to get one. Are there any technical or mechanical issues I need to be on the lookout for? Only considering ones with clean (no accidents/damage) Carfax reports. Thanks for everyone's feedback... will be my first Audi but really looking forward to it! David

I have a '13 V6, love it. had to have the sway bars, bushings etc replaced this week under CPO, other than that, no real issues. Well, the replaced the steering wheel because the heated wheel was weak. Guess what? Got the new wheel, heating still sucks. My Land Rover LR4 wheel burns my skin off!

Not much to watch out for, might be helpful to familiarize yourself with the options list so you can make sure you get everything you want. The massaging seats and adaptive cruise are fantastic to have, I wouldn't miss out on those options.

Thanks for the feedback... been hearing that they're relatively service-free, so it's nice to know some specifics to look out for.

Jack88, I've been pulling the Monroney original window stickers on each of the used A8L to see and ensure what's in/on each vehicle I'm interested in. Have been following the cars I'm watching through Cars.com, Autotrader.com, and Carfax.com; great resources! Really want the driver assistance pkg, the 22-way heated/ventilated/massaging seats, pano roof, and 4-zone A/C. Thanks for your recommendation! David

Default Just bought one

What I learned is you need the sticker to know what options they have. Lower mileage cars will kill your budget. I just purchased 2014 a8l with 17k miles. It's amazing that a 100k car is less than half price in just 3 years.

new here too with the same situation! picked up a '14 with the 4.0 V8. stickered for over 100k and it is a simply incredible machine.

nearly EVERY listing I saw online for A8s had the options flat out wrong. in some cases it might help because whoever has it doesn't realize what they have.

so yes the sticker is important!
