I am getting this squeal from the engine it seems in my 2013 A8 4.0T. I can not tell where it is coming from, but it pretty loud. Car has 56K miles on it. Car is CTO anything in particular I should be thinking in bringing it to the dealer.

Not much to go on there. Could be something as simple as a bad serpentine belt or failed bearing on the belt tensioner pulley. If you don't know enough to narrow it down a bit, then my advice would be to get it to the shop pronto and have it checked out.

Not enough info. If on CPO warranty just make your punch list of items and bring it in. Remember one deductible for everything, so on prior CPO I used to try to do any issues in batches rather than one offs.

Not enough to go off of. If you post a video with the noise, it might be something someone can still identify. Or not, hard to say.

Check PCV valve. Just happened to mine at 47K miles. Mine was covered under aftermarket warranty. Check Youtube for "A8 Squealing" -- you will hear the type of sound -- if that is it, you probably found your problem.

If squealing stops, it's the pcv/(Kombi?) valve.

Turns out it was something called the oil separater breather.

Glad to hear the tone has changed....not.
They shouldn't fail; poor design somewhere along the line.

Had that happen in a 2000 Porsche Boxster. Was sure a pulley was rubbing someplace.
