Q7 vs. XC90
Anyone compare these two before buying? I have an order for a Q7 but test drove a T6 polestar yesterday and I was impressed with the Volvo.

I did the same exact comparison before I settled on the Q7. After a test drive and thorough look at XC90 interior, I dropped it.

Even with the issues I have with my Q7, I still think it's a better vehicle compared to XC90.

Oops, meant to post this here...
After sitting in the XC90 for 5 minutes, I was concerned with the build quality. 5 more minutes in the Q7 and it wasn't even a question...

thanks for the responses. i think it just the wait for the Q7 thats getting to me. Ordered in december and i still don't have a production date.

This is the longest wait I've had for any German car. Either this thing is sooooo popular, or a factory has burned down and they aren't telling anyone

Your dealer likely didn't have allocation and should have been upfront about that. My car landed in Houston yesterday after a 11/19 order. Should be here next week.

I think this is the case. I got the best deal from them but now i'm considering finding another dealer with an allocation.

Yup, we looked long & hard at both the Q7 and XC90, and it came down to the cost on a lease. For reasons I will probably never understand, the XC90 with a $62K list, the dealer wanted over $1000 per month for 36 months plus $4K drive off.... and they wouldn't budge a dime.
The Q7 with a $66K list, I was able to negotiate down to $725 per month for 36 months with a $500 plus we gave them our 2005 X5 with 115K miles and a bunch of body damage. I valued the X5 at $1500, maybe $2K.
