Default Rear Black Badge photos

I have a silver BOP arriving next month and I'm thinking of changing th rear badges to black. Can't find any photos online. Has anyone done this change?

I'm changing my Florett Silver w/ BOP to all black badges. I pick it up next weekend but I won't have photos of the black badges for 2 weeks as I'm getting full Matte paint protection film installed. I should have photos of the car around March 10th.

The wait is killing me.

I understand the waiting feeling! I've even been tracking the vessel my Q is on.

Has anyone done plasti-dip on the rear badges? Looks as though it's the easier, faster method.

PeteDin206: Saw your black badges ready for install from a different thread. Are the people doing your matte finish installing the badges?

Yes, they will install the badges after the PPF because they are taking everything off and doing a paint correcting prior to installing the film. They will also be doing my tint.

What's a 'paint correcting". What's the cost of a matte PPF?

Just making sure there aren't any scratches or small swirls in the paint. The Matte PPF cost really depends on region and installer. I've seen everything from $5k to $10k.

I know it's an A7 but my silver BOP with black rings from TAG. I did their black rings front and back and they look great and seem to be holding up well.

I won't be doing the black rings on our ink blue Q7 with BOP as I like some contrast.

I assume a paint correcting is a buff out to remove surface contaminates and swirls.
