If you mean parts like this one, don't even consider it. There are only a couple good ones on the market, OEM is the best quality product, with Arnott and RMT being the only others people have had some luck with aftermarket. Go with the ebay ones and you will have problems again, very quickly if not immediately.

Oh, you don't need any aftermarket parts to lower the S8. You do it with a $300 cable and a bit of straightforward settings change. Cheap, easy, and safe.

Brilliant cheers Jack. Sorry i cant upload what i was trying to show you. If you type airmatic supsension kit A8 into uk ebay it comes up what looks like adjustable links/bars is the only way i can describe it. Not having the car yet means i cannot look for myself to see if it was needed so thought id ask you guys first before i went ahead and bout it.

Good idea to ask first. Most modifications you can think of, someone here has done. Same goes for problems needing repair. I always come on here and check before doing anything. Lots of good other modifications to be made with the cable in the link in my signature. The lowering was discussed in this thread, but may be elsewhere as well. It's funny how the aftermarket supplies several options when they are entirely unnecessary, given it can be done with factory equipment.

If you mean lowering it more as was fleshed out, std. VCDS/VAG COM techniques essentially for free once you own the cable and software. Now $200 to open the door wide open to full diagnostics and all the mods. Make BMW and Merc diagnostic tools at remotely rational prices look like Neanderthal crap as a rough benchmark. Lowering links and such are akin to buggy whips in the world of Audi air rides for last 10 years. Classic ones are really expensive buggy whips. Maybe the Fleabay ones are the Made in China ones? Still buggy whips.
