Default Tyre change causes hydraulic fluid dash fault

So I took my motor in for a tyre change, both front. I drove away only to have the car beeping at me and the red exclamation mark on the dash. I pressed one of the black thing's down on the dash and it said "check brake fluid, check hydraulic fluid" - plenty of both....so I am lost lol.

Any idea what this could be or what has caused it?

Cheers for any help!

Sounds like your tyre changer messed something up. They should have addressed that when they returned your car to you. You could try a hard reset by disconnecting the battery earth (ground) negative cable. Leave it off for a couple of minutes. Then reattach it and that should clear the fault indicator. The switch on the end of the wiper activation lever can be used to reset the dash warnings as you scroll through them. Hard to answer accurately since you didn't mention year, model, etc. Also possible wire got disconnected while the shop had it. Analyzer/ code reader would be of help too.

Year is 2000 and its an A6 C5. I'll try the battery route, haven't got a reader yet, gonna get one in a few days. I'll be ringing them tomorrow to notify them of the issue, its random as hell.

Thank you for replying.
