Default Thoughts on the 2.0 vs 3.0?

It might be time to retire my 05 which has served me well for the last 160k miles and 10 years. I'm leaning towards a 2013 A6 but everything near me is the 2.0 but very few 3.0's.
I've owned a turbo charged 2.0 in my last car which was a Saab 93 and it seemed like a good match for a smaller car but is it asking too much for the heavier body of the A6? I know low mileage it will be fine but I'd like to get another 160k out of it.
Am I over thinking this or is my concern legitimate?

You'll always be kicking yourself when you press the accelerator down, and the money you saved buying the 2.0 will not be worth the happiness lost

Hi NoVA,

This one has been discussed many a time on the C7 forum...but if it were me, I'd be getting the 3.0w/supercharger. Just a solid and almost infinitely tuneable motor.

Good luck with your new ride and please post pics when you get it.

Why not ask on C7 forum?

We have a 2014 2.0. It's not a race car (we have other cars for that) but it is a very capable daily driver. The eight speed trans is really nice.

Good question. I didn't know the C6 went to 2010 and C7 was the newer platform. No wonder my searches weren't coming back with a lot. Thanks
