Default Quattro badge?

Finally took home my 2017 A4 Prestige FWD after sales hold/negotiation hell, and I've noticed there's a Quattro badge on the grey oak inlay near my glove box, even though I ordered a FWD. It's the only such label on the car. Is that just a mistake? Anyone else with a FWD have the same?

From all the Audi's Ive seen in the past, and I sold Audi's for 5 years, only the quattro cars had that badge on the inlay. What does your window sticker say?

Do you have a 'quattro' badge on the front grille? Or on the trunk?

What's a good way to tell whether the car is actually FWD without putting it on a lift?

That is either a mistake (which shouldn't happen since I believe cars without quattro have all badges removed). Or you got yourself a Quattro.

Like HypserS4 and VM asked, does your window sticker say quattro or fwd and are there Quattro badges on the boot lid or front grill?

Go to checkmycar.com and enter the VIN. It will tell you if it's FWD or Quattro.

Nope, just on the inlay above the glove box.

This isn't saying whether it's FWD or Quattro.

Bizarre. When I run my own VIN number it says Quattro, which is accurate.

Look under the rear of your car with a flashlight. Do you see a driveshaft or a rear differential? No? No quattro (small q).
